Trade Notice - A list of licensed FFs with DGMS as at 08/11/2013

In terms of Freight Forwarding and NVOCC Operators (licensing) regulation 2011, which was published in the Gazette Extraordinary no 1717/6 dated August 02, 2011, entities who conduct the business of Freight Forwarding and NVOCC operators are required to obtain annual licenses from the office of the Director General of Merchant Shipping.

In view of the above, the office of the Director General of Merchant Shipping urge all exporters and importers to deal only with licensed Freight Forwarding Companies.

It is also advised to report unresolved matters on various charges (ad-hoc charges) levied by 3P service providers to DGMS for necessary action.
