26th November 2013 Customs Notice Penalty Tables for late reporting and amendments to cargo manifestAccording to section 29 of the Customs Ordiance, Rs. 100,000/= should recovered as "Forfeiture" for each BL so amended. However, Considering the gravity of the amendment and other circumstance wich require such amendment, the Deputy Director of Customs mitigates this amount in terms of section 163 of Customs Ordinance as stipulated under section 166B.. |
