Date & Time - Friday 01st March 2013, 8.30AM - 1.00PM
Venue - The Auditorium, Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, 100, Independence Square, Colombo 7

In order to facilitate trade more effectively with additional features, The Sri Lanka Customs (SLC) has expanded their automation process and is planning to implement AW system fully in both exports and imports by doing away with the manual system towards end of March 2013.

In view of the above, Sri Lanka Shippers' Council together with Sri Lanka Customs is organizing a seminar with practical demonstrations of the process and applications to explain to the trade the concept of the operating system.

The presentation on AW full application and process along with practical demonstration will be conducted by Senior officials from Sri Lanka Customs led by Dr. Tharaka Mahaulpatha, Sri Lanka Customs

This seminar will be an ideal opportunity to review the progress on AW and address the ad hoc issues encountered by the trade.
